The number of applicants who uploaded all their documents into the unified admission center until the evening of Monday has reached 530.

Four hundred and sixty two (462) of the applicants are pursuing masters and doctorate programmes in the specialisations offered, while 68 have applied for advanced medical specialties.

Hilal bin Hamad Al-Azaki, Director of the Department of Graduate Studies at the Ministry of Higher Education, announced the closure of the electronic registration system at the Unified Admission Center in the national program of graduate studies for the academic year 2018/2019.

"The registration system will be closed on Thursday, March 1, so those wishing to apply for this scholarship or those who have registered and did not complete all the required procedures must complete and submit all documents required, in order to enter the competition in this year's program," Al Azaki said.

The beneficiaries of the scholarship will be announced on May 1, 2018. The screening process for the master's and doctorate programs for all fields will be through a special committee from the Ministry of Higher Education, except medical specialties which will be by a special committee from the Omani Council for Medical Specialties.
