Muscat: A contributor to the progress of Oman’s national development agenda, SalamAir has worked out a long-term strategy to attract more Omani talent to the aviation industry.

This forward-thinking plan was initiated with the airline welcoming Captain Salim Al Khatri, an aviation veteran, who will lead SalamAir’s crew training.

Tasked with establishing an in-house training programme and increasing efficiency, Al Khatri will play an important role in recruiting and retaining Omani pilots who will join the ranks of the airline’s growing team. A home-grown company and the country’s first budget airline, SalamAir aims to build an Omani leadership team, which will propel its operations, business growth and customer experience into the future.
