Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman expresses its condemnation and denunciation of the extremist racist statements made by an Israeli occupation official.
In the statement, the Israeli occupation official denied the existence of the brotherly Palestinian people, and made use of a misleading map that contradicts facts and international law.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement: "The Sultanate of Oman expresses total rejection of such irresponsible provocative statements and actions, which represent a clear violation of all international laws and norms," calling on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities by deterring these incitement practices targeting the Palestinian people.
The Ministry affirmed its support for all regional and international efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace, in a way that would enable the brotherly Palestinian people to obtain all their legitimate rights, and establish their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital in accordance with the two-state solution, the resolutions of international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative.
