Muscat: A double century by Kashyap Prajapati powered Muscat CT past Oman Stallions in the 2022-23 Oman Cricket Super League match on Friday. The win secured Muscat a berth in the final where they will meet Oman Stallions again. The final will be played on Monday.
Put to bat first, Muscat CT made the most of the offer as opener Prajapati went on a rampage. Along with his partner, Jatinder Singh, the team were off to a flyer. Prajapati scored a run-a-ball century and got his double in just 48 balls. His 204 came off 147 balls with 21 fours and 6 sixes as Muscat CT reached 333/5 in 50 overs. Ayaan Khan provided good support with 49.
Muscat CT bowlers then ran through the Oman Stallions batting, bundling them out for 147 in 44.4 overs. Ayaan picked 3/13, while Samay Shrivastav and Sandeep Goud took two each.
Yalla Shabab edge past Renaissance
Yalla Shabab beat Renaissance in the other league game and the teams will play once again on Tuesday to determine the third place in the Super League
