Unforgettable Muscat Festival concludes

Muscat: A memorable month, full of cultural experiences and enjoyable activities, has finally come to an end. At the Muscat Festival grounds, knowledge was shared, friendships were built, and most importantly, people from around the Gulf came together for a glimpse into Omani heritage and its offerings.
The festival had an array of diverse activities for both locals and those visiting from across the region. This year, the organisers brought back a number of popular attractions, including the Heritage village that gave people a peek into the life of ancient Omanis and their practices. Another highlight was the Bedouin village, where natives from the Sharqiyah region shared the beauty of their celebrated traditions.
Also, thrilling rides, a global exhibition, magic shows, traditional dances, live performances, and local acts attracted hordes of people.
In the spirit of bringing back interesting and informative activities, while adding new flavours to the festival, especially for the new generation, the Muscat Festival organised “International Pavilions”, where a corner was occupied by embassy representatives on a mission to spread their culture, and to exchange knowledge with Omani people, as well as visitors. The United States and Pakistan also had their stations at the festival.
Overall, this year’s event was a great success and witnessed a large number of visitors, who were eager to learn, while having a great time. Until next year.
