Muscat: The Special Economic Zone at Duqm (Sezad) will host a 3-day programme which aims to bring sustainable business opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs.
The 'Rowad Duqm' programme jointly organised by Sezad in cooperation with Tawasul Foundation will kick off on March 12.
Many government and private bodies operating in the zone, small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs are taking part in the event.
The event will serve to establish partnerships between SMEs and other companies operating in Sezad. Further, this business event intends to identify the major challenges facing these enterprises to establish their projects and provide their services and businesses to companies in the zone, as well as discuss their needs and aspirations.
There will be three phases with the first phase including a group of proactive workshops conducted between the participating and targeted corporates. The second phase will have discussions and training sessions, while the third comes post-event to follow up on the outcomes and achieve the objectives of the Rowad Duqm programme.
