Muscat: A delegation of British investors representing a group of companies operating in the sectors of mining, technology, agriculture, services and logistics visited the ‘Invest in Oman’ hall.
During the visit they were briefed about the incentives offered to investors and the investment mechanism and procedures in the Sultanate of Oman.
The delegation members toured the sections of the ‘Invest in Oman’ hall, where they learned about the important services and facilities it provides to the investor wishing to invest in the Sultanate of Oman.
They were also apprised about the investment mechanism, the authorities related to the hall, and information about the opportunities available in various sectors in the Sultanate.
During the visit, a visual presentation was made to the delegation that touched on the investment incentives in the Sultanate of Oman, the investor residency programme, and the advantages and facilities offered by the special economic zones and free zones.
This visit is organized by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Kingdom, in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion. Within the framework of promoting and attracting foreign investments to the Sultanate and presenting the incentives and facilities offered to investors.
Invest in Oman hall was inagurated last week in February 27, 2023 by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP). The hall is aimed at attracting foreign investments to the Sultanate of Oman and is expected to provide a boost to the business environment as it will introduce the prospective investors to the investment environment, incentives, industrial, free and economic zones.
