Riyadh: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs, is taking part in the International Conference on Justice being held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The Omani delegation is led by Dr. Yahya Nasser Al Khusaibi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs.
The two-day conference discusses a range of issues related to the future of judicial technologies, especially those related to technology that supports and enhances judicial practice, in line with the latest global experiences and digital transformations.
The conference, which is attended by a group of jurists from more than 30 countries around the world, reviews the prospects for investing artificial intelligence technologies in developing judicial work, international expertise and model agreements for judicial cooperation.
It also discusses the implementation of foreign judgments and arbitration within the framework of judicial cooperation agreements and international law, as well as the harmonization of domestic legislation with judicial cooperation agreements and facilitating their procedures.
