Trump says Republican memo vindicates him in Russia probe

President Donald Trump said on Saturday the controversial Republican memo alleging anti-Trump bias at the FBI vindicates him in the Russia investigation.
Taking to Twitter, Trump called the probe "an American disgrace".
Democrats say they fear Trump might use the memo to to try to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller, or Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who the memo alleges signed off on the surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page based on flawed information.
Trump's apparent anger at Rosenstein is also putting him at odds with Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who publicly praised Rosenstein alongside Rachel Brand, the number three person at the Justice Department on Friday.
U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said, "Rod has had 27 years in the department. Rachel has had a number of years in the department previously, and so they both represent the kind of quality in leadership that we want in the department."
The surveillance of Page is one of the Republican concerns detailed in the memo, which said the FBI used a biased source to get a court to approve it.
The FBI criticised the memo as having quote "material omissions of fact," while Democrats described the memo as misleading, calling it a political ploy intended to discredit Mueller's probe.
