Muscat: Lulu Hypermarket launched the first season of its 'World Food 2023', which is a grand celebration of all the unique foods and flavours of the world.
The first season of the annual food fest 2023 began on February 22 and will run till March 4, 2023. The event will provide customers with an opportunity to pamper their taste buds, be part of fun events and contests, as well as win amazing prizes and gift coupons.
The two-week-long celebration will include special cookery contests, e-raffle promotions and celebrity visits held across all Lulu hypermarkets. Customers can also be part of other activities such as live cooking demos, free sampling sessions and food exhibitions. Special in-store sampling counters will be put up throughout the promotion for customers to sample a variety of unique food products on display.
As part of the World Food Fest ’23, Lulu will provide a chance for more than 100 customers to win amazing gifts on the purchase of their favourite food products worth OMR0 from any of the Lulu Hypermarkets in Oman and Lulu online stores. The gift items include Apple iPhone 14 PRO 128 GB, Samsung Microwave Oven, Gigilli Granite Cookware set, as well as Lulu Shopping gift cards worth OMR50. The winners are selected through a digital raffle draw.
Customers can also avail of special discounts and offers on groceries, frozen products, Special imported food products, ready-to-eat items, pastries, breads, fresh food products, and more. There will be 20% off available on selected cookware sets during the promotion.
Customers can also be part of a Scratch and Win contest and take home gold bars and gold coins worth 1kg on the purchase of Puck products for OMR3. Shoppers can also get an instant discount of 500 baisas on the purchase of any Americana frozen products worth OMR4. There will also be a special section for combo meals and ready-to-cook boxes for consumers who lack both the time and the inspiration for cooking, providing them with the real taste of a home-cooked meal.

A special baking contest was held at Lulu Bausher from February 23 to February 25 for baking enthusiasts to show off their baking and cake-decorating skills. Shoppers got a chance to be part of various activities such as cupcake decoration and cookie making for kids and Battle of the bakers for adults. There was also a live cake-making demonstration during the fest.
