Muscat: In its issue published on Sunday, the Official Gazette brought out a redress regarding the national anthem and stated:
It should be noted that a material error occurred when publishing the Royal Decree No. 2/2020 amending Appendix No. (3) attached to the Law on the State Flag, Emblem and National Anthem, published in the Official Gazette issue No. (1330), issued on 29 Jumada II 1441 AH, corresponding to 23 February 2020 AD.
In the aforementioned Appendix, in (First: The Anthem), the word “Addhia” was mentioned while the correct word is “Dhia”.
