Combining luxury and sport, the Cadillac CT5 is a powerhouse of a sedan that takes performance to the next level. Its bold, expressive design, striking cabin and exceptional performance have earned it legions of devoted enthusiasts across the world, and in the Sultanate of Oman as well – fans who see in the CT5 a reflection of their own persona as high-achievers.
The CT5 – the biggest of Cadillac’s sedans – owes its enduring appeal to its makeover as a luxurious American blend of design, performance and comfort, while incorporating the latest automotive technologies. The result is a luxury sedan that exudes athleticism, sophistication and confidence, while ensuring a distinctive driving experience.
Available in four trims – Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport and V-Series – the CT5 is powered by a turbocharged propulsion portfolio that also leverages Cadillac’s award-winning rear wheel-drive (RWD) architecture.
The CT5’s athleticism, amplified by bold lines running along the length of the vehicles, is a dominant feature across the line-up. Unique fascias and grilles distinguish the Luxury and Premium Luxury models from the Sport and V-Series variants, which come with rocker extensions, rear spoiler and exclusive performance-design wheels. But standard across the trims are Cadillac’s signature vertical lights at all four corners.
Under the hood is a 2.0L Twin-Scroll Turbo engine standard on Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport, that is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission system that generates 237 horsepower and 258 lb-feet of torque. Standard for the CT5-V but optional for the Premium Luxury trim is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that generates 335 horsepower in the Premium Luxury model and 360 horsepower in the CT5-V.
Equally striking is the interior of the cabin as is evident from the craftsmanship and choice of premium materials used. Further, in keeping with the driver-centric design and layout of the cabin, all of the displays are thoughtfully laid out on the panels in front. Also, as one of the most spacious sedans on the road, the CT5 comes with 37.9 inches of legroom for rear passengers and 11.9 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk.
A distinguishing feature of the CT5 is the Driver Mode Selector that allows the sedan to changing road conditions based on driver preferences. Accordingly, motoring conditions are calibrated for transmission shifting, steering and brake feel, front/rear torque split (with the available AWD system) and vehicle sound character to provide a customised experience.
The CT5-V trim, on the other hand, offers an elevated, more engaging driving experience that’s rooted in Cadillac’s 17-year legacy of V-Series performance. Highlights include: 10-speed automatic transmission, Electronic limited-slip rear differential, Standard RWD, Performance Traction Management and Customizable Driver Mode Selector, among other features.
As with all models from the Cadillac stable, the CT5 comes with a suite of safety and driver assistance features to ensure an unmatched degree of motoring confidence. Features range from Automatic Emergency Braking to Vehicle Diagnostics. High-end technology also ensures that the CT5 stays connected when on the road. This is enabled by a 10-inch diagonal HD color touchscreen display and Rotary Infotainment Controller with jog functionality, installed alongside a 12-inch diagonal HD instrument cluster that offers multiple configurations and display options to better suit the driver’s needs.
Cadillac premium care program includes 4 Years/100,000 km warranty coverage. 5 years/100,000 km service and maintenance coverage and 4 years roadside assistance coverage.
