Agreement inked to develop tourism projects in Al Buraimi

OMRAN Group has signed a cooperation agreement with the Office of Al Buraimi Governor to develop some tourism projects in the Governorate of Al Buraimi.The agreement was signed by Sayyid Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi and Eng. Mohammed Salim Al Busaidi, Chairman of OMRAN Board. As per the agreement, OMRAN will provide technical support and supervise the implementation of a platform project to interact with visitors at Al-Buraimi Gate, and the Al Abeela Park project in the governorate.

Royal Opera House Muscat to host a concert of Fatoumata Diawara

Fatoumata Diawara, The Star of Africa, will perform at the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts on the 9th and 10th February at 7pm. Hailed as a visionary musician and voice for unity and hope, Fatoumata Diawara sings in her native Bambara about lost childhoods, women’s rights and precious manuscripts from Timbuktu. A Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, guitarist, actress and activist, she embraces modernity as well as tradition.
