Muscat: A voice recording circulating on social media in Oman claiming that a girl was kidnapped and raped, and that two other children were kidnapped is false, Royal Oman Police has confirmed.
"Referring to the voice recording that has been circulating on social media about the kidnapping and raping of a girl in Sohar, and the kidnapping of two other children and killing one of them while the other is missing, there is no truth to what has been circulated and the owner of the voice recording will be arrested," an ROP spokesman said in an online statement.
