1. Here is the weather prediction for next 24 hours

The General Directorate of Meteorology said that aerial pictures predict of dust storm arising in Southern Iran and Pakistan, which may have an impact on the coasts of the Sea of Oman today, Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Omani Meteorology indicated that clouds, accompanied by sporadic rains, continued to condense over parts of the coasts of the Sea of Oman, south Al Sharqiyah, and Al Hajar Mountains.

2. Sand dunes on Adam-Thumrait road, ROP advises caution

The Royal Oman Police has called on Adam-Thumrait road users to be cautious due to the accumulation of sand.

Royal Oman Police said: “For Adam-Thumrait highway users, please take care and pay attention to the sand that has accumulated on the road near Ghbar bridge due to the active winds.”
