Sohar Aluminium appoints new CFO

Muscat: Sohar Aluminium announced the appointment of Mr Ricardo Fontes Santana as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

In his capacity, Ricardo will champion the financial strength business strategic objective and will be leading the finance, information technology, and supply chain management departments.

Ricardo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, and an MBA in Finance and Controlling from the Universidade Federal Fluminense, Brazil. During his career, he held senior executive finance, financial compliance, business evaluation, risk management, IT, supply, and reporting activities positions in global aluminium and oil and gas companies in Brazil, Australia, Singapore and The Netherlands.
