Muscat: Fagor FCC thump Strenserv by 96 runs in the A Division League Season 2022-23 powered by Khimji Ramdas LLC and Indian School Muscat U19’s beat Muscat Cricket Coaching Centre by 216 runs in the U19 Junior League Season 2022-23 powered by Khimji Ramdas LLC.
In the A Division match, Strenserv won the toss and put Fagor FCC to bat first. Fagor FCC’s 2nd wicket partnership of 79 runs put them onto a firm base to post a formidable total. Aneermon A asserted more depth into the batting scoring a sublime half century being dropped at 1st slip before notching a run. Fagor FCC posted a total of 221 runs bundled down at the death overs. Jaleel K picked 5 wickets while Abdul Rauf bagged 3 wickets along with Vijeesh claiming 2 wickets as well. In response, Strenserv were cruising well towards the chase but tumbled down loosing 5 wickets between 5 overs and packed at 125. Mustaqeem Asif was the lone scorer scoring a chanceless half century to help Strenserv fight. Nobish Gopi bagged 5 wickets while Aneermon A claimed 3 wickets. In the U19 match, Indian School Muscat U19’s scored 334 runs courtesy of a sublime century from Tanuj Sivakumar and an aggressive half century from Aditya Gurumukhi. Harshil Shetty picked 3 wickets for MCCC U19. In response, MCCC U19 bundled down for just 118 courtesy of Aditya Girish picking 4 wickets and Aditya MPR claiming 3 wickets.
