GAC announces arrival of 2018 Outlander 2400GLX

Muscat: General Automotive Company (GAC), an official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Oman, announced the arrival of the 2018 Outlander GLX2400.
The 2400GLX, despite being the 5-seater entry-level model of the Outlander range, sports a wide range of convenience and safety features together with the now-familiar look and off-road prowess of the popular mid-sized crossover; allowing their owners to explore Oman in true comfort and style.

The Outlander GLX 2400comes with 2.4 L MIVEC, 4-cylinder engine featuring Mitsubishi’s innovative valve timing electronic control system. Producing 167PS at 6,000rpm and 22.6kgm of torque at 4,100rpm, and mated to a new generation continuously-variable transmission, this drivetrain offers improved acceleration, performance, shift feels and torque delivery.
This performance is further enhanced by Mitsubishi’s superior Multi-select 4WD system. The system that is electronically controlled and switches to 4WD on demand. The system also comes as standard with a 4WD Eco and lock modes, which perfectly balances the fine-tuned and environmentally-conscious performance of the engine. The front MacPherson strut and rear multi-link suspension plus weight-saving aluminium roof further contribute to the Outlander’s agile car-like handling and comfort, filling drivers with complete confidence while everyone enjoys an elevated view.
The current Outlander was the first Mitsubishi production vehicle to showcase the brand's then-new ‘Dynamic Shield’ design language. The new 2018 Outlander takes this a step further, featuring a number of exterior updates that further enhance its overall look. The end result is a vehicle with an aggressive front face styling, which together with the muscular fenders and aerodynamic body lines, makes the Outlander seem as if in motion even when stationary.
