Erie, Pennsylvania: Erie, Pennsylvania received 53 inches of snow in 30 hours, causing local authorities to declare a state of emergency.

The town was hit with 53 inches of snow from Monday (December 25) until Tuesday (December 26) morning.

Videos uploaded to social media show backyards completely covered by snow, buried cars, and dogs running in the the snow.
