Muscat: The weather of the Sultanate of Oman will be affected by a low pressure , starting from Saturday which may lead to sporadic rains in the Governorate of Musandam and the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said: “There are chances of rain next week in a number of governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
"Today, parts of south and north Al Sharqiyah and Dhofar governorates are witnessing low/medium clouds, in addition to the spread of high clouds over the northern governorates."
On Thursday, the mountainous and coastal areas of the Dhofar Governorate witnessed rains, leading to runoff in wadis in some areas. The Salalah Airport station recorded 6.4 mm of rain until ten o'clock in the evening.
