Muscat: The wait is over. Making the Oman winter merrier will be Snow Oman, the largest indoor snow park in the country, which is all set to open its door at the Mall of Oman on December 24.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Snow Oman announced that the opening will be on December 24.
Advance tickets have been put on offer, starting from OMR12.5.
Developed by Majid Al Futtaim, Snow Oman is an indoor snow park destination spread over 14,830 square metres.
Among the major attractions, Snow Oman offers rides, a local colony of king and gentoo penguins and real snow.

Visitors will experience a visit to an icy Omani port town complete with shipwreck and a frozen lighthouse.
The Ice Skating Trail will engage both new and experienced skaters, while sledding down soft white dunes under a breathtaking snow dome that will be unprecedented for the region.
Over a bridge will be the Snow Village, where little ones can enjoy soft play activities with warm seating for parents. The nearby Snow Café will be stocked full of plentiful seating and hot and cold drinks.
Topping it off will be the park’s resident penguins for that magical photo opportunity.
