Nepali envoy calls on Sports Minister Al Saadi

Muscat: Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, Ambassador of Nepal to the Sultanate of Oman paid a courtesy call on Sheikh Saad bin Mohammed bin Said Al Mardhouf Al Saadi’s, Minister of Sports Affairs, office on Wednesday.
Al Saadi praised the excellent bilateral relations between Nepal and Oman. He inquired about Nepal’s current socio-economic and political situation. During the meeting, ambassador Dhakal praised the active role of the Ministry for the promotion of the several sports activities in the Sultanate. Al Saadi informed that the sports development in Oman is the strategy of the government to engage the youth in sports activities as well as to enhance their creativity and competitiveness for healthy team spirit and participation.
