Earthquake recorded off Oman coast

Muscat: An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale occurred in Arabian Sea on Tuesday morning, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre at Sultan Qaboos University.

Speaking to Times of Oman, an official said that the epicenter of the earthquake is around 320 km away from Duqm. "It happened around 11:44 am this morning," the official said.
"We are waiting for further details," he said.
