Bank Muscat staff honoured at 35th anniversary celebrations

Muscat: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, hosted a grand ceremony at the head office to mark the 35th anniversary in the presence of Abdul Razak Ali Issa, chief executive, and management team members. Coinciding with the milestone occasion, employees who completed more than 20 years of service were honoured.
Highlighting the bank’s achievements, Abdul Razak Ali Issa said: “Bank Muscat is proud to celebrate the 35th anniversary of its successful journey. The bank’s achievements and successes contributing to the national economy and society are attributable to the efforts and skills of staff who serve with a sense of belonging to the institution as one family. The bank remains committed to its responsibility in the continuation of progress and development by focusing on creativity and innovation to achieve more success.”
Bank Muscat started operations with 30 employees at its inception in 1982 to reach 3619 employees by the end of October this year with 94% Omanisation. The bank’s human resources strategy is notable in maintaining gender diversity as 48 per cent of employees are women holding various positions, including senior management positions.
