Oman takes part in Arab Parliament meet on Jerusalem

Cairo: Deliberations of the Arab Parliament’s urgent session began at the Arab League headquarters on Monday to discuss the recent US decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to it.
The Sultanate will be represented in the Arab Parliament meetings by Mussalam bin Ali Al Ma’shani, member of the State Council, Deputy Chairman of the Arab Parliament and member of the Foreign and Political Affairs, and member of the Arab National Security Committee, Khamis bin Said Al Sulaimi, member of the State Council and member of the Social, Educational, Cultural, Women and Youth Committee at the Arab Parliament, Rashid bin Ahmed Al Shamsi, Deputy Chairman of Majlis Al Shura, member of the Economic and Financial Committee at the Arab Parliament and Salim bin Ali Al Kaa’bi, member of Majlis Al Shura and member of the Legal and Legislative Committee and Human Rights at the Arab Parliament.
Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, Secretary General of the Arab League and Riyad Al Malki, the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs are taking part in the session.
