Royal Office Minister receives ambassadors of Brazil, Yemen

Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office received on Monday Ligia Maria Scherer, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Sultanate of Oman, to bid her farewell at the end of her tour of duty.

The Brazilian ambassador expressed her appreciation for the cooperation extended to her in the Sultanate of Oman. She also lauded the bilateral relations between Oman and Brazil.

On his turn, Al Nu’amani thanked the ambassador for the efforts she exerted in boosting the relations between the two countries during her tour of duty, wishing her success.

Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu'mani, Minister of the Royal Office also received on Monday Dr. Khaled Saleh Shoteif, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Sultanate of Oman.

During this meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of bilateral cooperation and discussed several matters of mutual interest.

The Yemeni ambassador lauded Oman’s sincere efforts in resolving the Yemeni crisis and establishing peace in coordination with relevant international parties.
