Dazzling drone and laser shows light up skies in Oman

Muscat: Drone and laser shows lit up the skies in the governorates of Muscat, Musandam and Dhofar in celebration of the 52nd glorious National Day, and citizens expressed their gratitude to the organisers of these events.

On Thursday, November 18, the 52nd National Day activities kicked off at 8:00 pm with drone and laser shows in Al Amerat Park and Al Khoud Dam in Muscat Governorate. Drone and laser shows were also held in Sahel Aten in Dhofar Governorate, and in wilayat of Khasab in Musandam Governorate.

Drone and laser shows formed and embodied the most beautiful landmarks of the Sultanate, including the image of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the forts of Oman, the dove of peace, the slogan of the 52nd National Day, and the flag of the Sultanate.

Everyone in the Sultanate, citizens and residents, waited for these performances to witness the beauty of the scene. Some were in their cars while others were accompanied by their friends and families, with joy and pleasure writ large on their faces.

Mohammad Al Harthi from the state of Muscat said “I came with my friends to enjoy the drone and laser shows in Al-Amerat Park. It was really beautiful. The organisers of these events excelled in the technique of drone and laser shows. Thanks to all the organisers.” Waleed Al-Hamidi from the state of Khasab also said: “I went with my family to enjoy the drone shows. It was wonderful and my children enjoyed the show. The 52nd National Day is very special. Thanks to all officials, who made all efforts to make the shows enjoyable.”
