US urged to revoke Jerusalem decision

Muscat: The Arab Foreign Ministers called on the US to cancel its decision considering Jerusalem as capital of Israel and transferring the U.S Embassy to it.
They also urged the countries of the world to recognise the Palestinian State with Eastern Jerusalem as its capital.
At the end of their extraordinary meeting, which was attended by the Sultanate, the Arab Foreign Ministers Council condemned the US decision and considered it void and in violation of the UN Security Council and UN General Assembly related resolutions which stressed the fact that Eastern Jerusalem is an occupied land.
They also called for getting a resolution from the U.N Security Council affirming that the U.S decision recognising Jerusalem as capital of Israel is in contradiction with the international legitimacy resolutions.
