1. Police urges users of Muscat Expressway to drive carefully
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has urged users of the Muscat Expressway after the Oman Oil Station "Al Rusayl" to drive cautiously after a load fell from a truck on the road.
According to the Directorate General of Traffic, a load of truck fell on the Muscat Expressway after the Oman Oil Station "Al Rusayl", the line coming from Seeb towards Muscat."
Road users must exercise caution and abide by precautionary driving," Directorate General added.
2. Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said leaves Oman for Algeria
Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said has left the Sultanate of Oman for the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to chair the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation at the 31st Arab Summit.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "Based on the high commission, His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, is heading to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to head the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation participating in the 31st Ordinary Arab Summit."
