1. Royal Hospital makes important announcement for patients
The Royal Hospital will launch a campaign on Sunday to reduce the waiting list of appointments in the ultrasound department, with an increase of 60 patients per day. Under the direct supervision of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, the Ultrasound Department aims to accommodate approximately 130 patients per day.
2. Oman Embassy in Philippines issues alert
With the approach of tropical storm Bain, the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Philippines alerted all citizens in the Philippines to exercise caution and abide by the instructions of the relevant local authorities. They can communicate with the embassy through Twitter.
3. Oman announces medical aid flight to Sri Lanka
The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Oman Charitable Organisation, announced a medical aid flight to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
“The handover ceremony was attended by the Sri Lankan Minister of Health, Undersecretary and First Secretary Saeed bin Ali Al-Harbi, Deputy Head of Mission, at the Ministry of Health building,” Oman Embassy in Colombo said.
