Muscat: The National Employment Programme (NEP) has signed an agreement with the Innovative Solutions Company for Modern Projects, under which the Innovative Solutions Company, through its electronic platform ‘e-Hissab’, will issue the billing system for applicants and beneficiaries of the National Employment Programme.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the National Employment Programme by Eng. Azhar Al Kindi, Executive Director of the Programme, while Zahra Razavi, the founding partner of the platform, signed the agreement on behalf of the Innovative Solutions Company for Modern Projects.
Eng. Azhar Al Kindi said: "We are pleased to sign this agreement and cooperate with the ‘e-Hissab’ platform, as we found it compatible with the programme's goal, and we also found in it all the innovative solutions we are looking for to facilitate self-employment and deal with applicants and beneficiaries of the programme. This agreement relates to electronic invoicing and issuance and payment of invoices.
Al Kindi indicated that one of the advantages of this platform is that it is in line with the global trend towards reducing the use of paper, as well as achieving sustainability and preserving the environment.
The platform also comes within an integrated system that will be issued by the programme to support and motivate craftsmen employers in the Sultanate of Oman.
Zahra Razavi, co-founder of the ‘e-Hissab’ platform, said: “One of the advantages of the platform is that it is characterised by a high security system, as the platform deals with Bank Muscat and also accepts payments from all local banks, and this has been implemented during the past two years, as we were dealing with small and medium projects as well as home projects, and during that period, it proved its safety, efficiency and ease of integrating.
She added: The platform is also characterized by the fact that it is easy to use and has flexibility in dealing, and it gives a lot of options when sending invoices, so it can be sent via e-mail or social media such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp, and this makes it a friendly platform for everyone.
She pointed out that one of the most important features of the ‘e-Hissab’ platform is that it is characterised by security as it deals with Bank Muscat directly and without any intermediary, and customer data is not dealt with or numbers are saved through the platform, which increases the satisfaction and trust of platform users.
