Muscat: The A division of the Oman Cricket League Season 2022-23 started with Strenserv closely beating Orient Travels by 2 wickets.
Electing to bat first , Orient Travels started off a shaky start loosing 3 wickets for just 33 runs. Small partnerships with lone standing Amandeep Singh guided the total to 185 for Orient Travels.
The mighty turner , Vijeesh Velunni was the wrecker for Strenserv picking 4 wickets in his quota of 10 overs. To oppose , Strenserv got off to a stable start with their 1st wicket falling for 42.

In another A division match, Fagor FCC beat OCT ruwi by a massive margin of 121 runs to account their 1st win.
Winning the toss, OCT Ruwi put Fagor FCC to bat first. With a stable start to the innings , Fagor FCC were looking to post a big total on the board but Mohammed Al Balushi’s spell of 3 wickets restricted them to 190 loosing all their batters in 46th over. The Fagor FCC bowlers were spot on with their plan s as they bundled out OCT Ruwi for a mere 69 runs courtesy 3 wickets from Chirag Mandaviya and Pradeep Kumar.
