Muscat: Hamida Hammoud Al Amriya, who was first reported missing 18 days ago from the Wilayat of Izki in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, is still not found and the efforts to search for her continue, said the Royal Oman Police.
Efforts to search for the missing citizens in Izki in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate are continuing by all concerned departments, volunteer teams and citizens. The police call on those who have any information about the missing woman or her whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or the number 9999 at the earliest.
The Royal Oman Police denies what is being circulated about finding the missing citizen, and confirms that Al-Joud continues to search for her for the third week.
ROP said in a statement: “The attached leaflet circulating on social media about the news of finding the missing woman in Wilayat of Izki is not true, and the circulating news is related to another previously reported incident. The Royal Oman Police emphasises to the honourable public the need to take information and news from its official sources.”
Yesterday, The Royal Oman Police said: "As part of the efforts made to search for the missing woman, Hamida Hammoud Al Amriya, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command, with the support of the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences, continues its search for her in Sima village and its neighboring villages in the Wilayat of Izki, using precise devices and equipments."
