Muscat: After the tremendous success of the last seven editions of the Europcar Open, Al Mouj Golf course is once again ready to host the eighth edition which promises to be even more enthralling on Friday, December 2.
As in every year, the Europcar Open Golf event will see the best golfers in the country competing for the Men’s Division A, Men’s Division B, Ladies and Inter-Club challenge trophies.
Europcar hosted a launch dinner at the Mumtaz Mahal for the GMs, captains of the 4 golf clubs from Oman and the sponsors and partners. Oman Golf Association was represented by Ahmed Al Jahdhami Director and Jamie Wood Championship and technical director.
The clubs were represented by Marcus Casey Head Golf Professional and Girish Chawla Men’s Captain at Al Mouj Golf, Khalil Al Wahaibi GM, Ahmed Al Farsi Operations Manager and Mark Davis Men’s Captain at Ghala Golf Club, Shawn Skibinsky Operations Manager and Simon Walker Men’s Captain at Ras Al Hamra, Jade Lucas Operations Manager at Sifah Golf Club.
The title sponsor for this prime corporate golfing event is Peugeot & Aston Martin and will be partnered by Mistal Watches and Al Ahlia Insurance. Other sponsors include Kempinski, Travelex, African & Eastern, WH Smith, Mumtaz Mahal, Woodlands and media partner Times of Oman.
