1. One arrested for stealing livestock in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate
A person has been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for stealing livestock from various sites in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
"Al Dakhiliyah Police Command has arrested a person on charges of stealing livestock from five sites in the Wilayat of Bahla. The legal procedures are being completed against him," ROP said in a statement.
2. Nine arrested for vehicle theft in Oman
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested nine people on charges of vehicle theft in Al Buraimi Governorate.
3. President of Zanzibar visits Records and Archives Authority
Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar paid a visit to the National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA), within the framework of his current official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The guest and his accompanying delegation were received by Dr. Hamad Mohammed Al Dhawyani, Chairman of NRAA.
4. Oman and Zanzibar sign several pacts in various fields
The governments of the Sultanate of Oman and Zanzibar have signed three memorandums of understanding and an executive programme, on the sidelines of the President of Zanzibar's visit to Oman.
