Expat arrested in hit-and-run accident in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested an expat in a hit-and-run accident in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

A statement issued online by ROP said :"North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command has arrested an Asian truck driver on charges of running over a person, causing severe injuries and fleeing from the scene of the accident. The legal procedures are being completed against him."
