Muscat: In order to facilitate the movement of vehicles during the military parade in the headquarters of the Special Police Task Force in Al Seeb state, the Royal Oman Police has announced the traffic routes to and from Muscat during the parade on the occasion of the 47th National Day on Saturday, evening November 18, for routes coming in from Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah and Al Sharqiyah Provinces.

The road between Halban flyover and Rusayl flyover will be closed, including all flyover lanes leading to the Muscat highway between the two flyovers (Halban and Rusayl) from November 18 evening until the end of the parade.

Those taking the Muscat highway exit from Qurum have to switch to an alternate route by turning from Rusayl flyover on the road to the Armed Forces Hospital roundabout and then head to the Burj Al Sahwah roundabout via Sultan Qaboos street.

Commuters travelling to the Al Dakhiliyah provinces, turn right at Rusayl flyover on the road to Al Dakhiliyah Provinces.

As for those coming from Al Dakhiliyah, they can turn right on the Rusayl flyover towards Qurum or continue towards Burj Al Sahwah, according to their destination.

Arrivals from north and south Al Batinah via Muscat highway can move from Halban flyover in the direction leading to Al Naseem flyover, and continue to Burj Al Sahwah.
