Rough seas forecast for Oman coast

Muscat: Oman's weather watchers are forecasting rough seas along the Musandam coast.

From Sunday night until Tuesday evening, seas will be rough near the Musandam coast, the Oman Meteorological Department has said in an alert.
“The waves would be up to two and half meter high,” the department tweeted on its official twitter handle.
Earlier in the day, heavy rain flooded Kumzar village in Musandam, residents said.
“Rainwater has entered many houses. It’s heavily raining and seems it will continue for a few more hours,” M.B. Venukkattan, a resident from nearby Khasab area, told Times of Oman.
In the morning, the Oman Meteorological Department had predicted rain in Musandam area.
