Is your car cleaner or maid here legally? If not you're fuelling the expat black market

Muscat: Residents who pay illegal car washers, gardeners and maids in cash are supporting and encouraging illegal labour in Oman, the Ministry of Manpower has warned.
“The Ministry of Manpower (MoM) has asked all residents, especially the expatriate community, not to hire illegal labour like cleaners, gardeners, or car cleaners. This supports and encourages illegal labour and also hinders Oman’s social and economic development,” the Ministry of Manpower said.
“Foreign manpower has always played a vital role in the development of Oman. Help us to continue the development of Oman,” the Manpower Ministry said.
The Ministry of Manpower inspection teams operate 24/7 across the Sultanate of Oman.
“Please report illegal labour operations to us on 80077000,” the Ministry of Manpower added.
