Muscat: In celebration of the Sultanate of Oman’s 47th National Day on 18 November, the largest ever 3D Flag built entirely from LEGO bricks will be built inside an Oman mall.

"Once the flag is complete, an inauguration ceremony to mark the occasion is scheduled to take place on the same day, and Oman Avenues Mall is inviting the people of Oman to come and celebrate the achievement with them,” a statement from Oman Avenues Mall said.

In celebration of the Sultanate of Oman’s 47th National Day on 18 November, and in recognition of Oman’s spectacular natural and cultural treasures, Oman Avenues Mall is currently going ahead with days of colour, creativity, and action with its ‘Oman, My Heart’ campaign for local and expat families and their kids.

Continuing through from 12 October until 30 November, the campaign invites kids between the ages of 6 and 16 years to come and ‘Play, Learn, and Celebrate’ around a giant tree-shaped play area installation in the mall’s main atrium – where, along with their friends, they can immerse themselves in a world of artwork stations; LEGO brick workshops; Jenga building block stations – and other creative activities. Entry is free, and all kids that participate receive a free LEGO gift.
