Muscat: A house was raided by Muscat Municipality for being used as a residence for expatriate workers.
The municipality said in a statement: "Muscat Municipality in Seeb raided a house in one of the residential neighbourhoods in the wilayat as it was being used as a residence for expatriate workers. This is a violation of the specific regulations for the use of residential buildings in the Governorate of Muscat and a violation of the social fabric. In the same context, the responsibility of landlords to abide by and take into account the societal aspects is affirmed. "
