Salalah: The Ministry of Labour, in cooperation with Alassayel for Conferences, organised the 10th GCC conference on developing the productivity of human resources, which kicked off on Wednesday.
The two-day conference, themed “Modern Approaches to Leadership”, focuses on the role of productivity in economic recovery.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Marwan Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, who felicitated the participants in the conference.
The conference, attended by 235 representatives from Oman and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, sheds light on the best leadership and economic practices.
It seeks to empower and enlighten a broad cross-section of employees through expanded knowledge about their role in improving the economy of countries.
It elucidates how this role reflects on productivity and economic recovery in public and private sectors.
The conference targets the segments of directors general and supervisors in public and private sectors, as well as entrepreneurs and university students reading different specialisations.
