Drilling equipments used for unlicensed wells seized in Oman

Muscat : Three drilling equipments have been seized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources for drilling unlicensed wells in Al Dhahirah Governorate. 

"To limit the drilling of random and unlicensed wells, the Control Department of the Directorate General of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Dhahirah Governorate was able to seize three drilling equipments while drilling wells without licenses in the Wilayat of Yanqul. Legal procedures are being completed against the violators,” the Ministry said in a statement.
