Three arrested for stealing from jewelry shop in Muscat

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested three expats for stealing gold from a jewelry shop in Muscat Governorate.

"The Muscat Governorate Police Command managed to arrest three people of Asian nationality on charges of theft from a jewelry shop. They stole large quantities of gold and smelted it in preparation for its easy smuggling abroad," ROP said in a statement.

"The Royal Oman Police calls on shop owners to exercise caution and take all safety measures to protect their properties."
