Person arrested for crossing flooded valley in Oman

Muscat: A person has been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for attempting to cross a flooded valley.

The ROP said in a statement: "The South Al-Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested a citizen for attempting to cross Wadi Al-Ais in the wilaya of Al Mousnah. He abandoned the vehicle in the center of the valley after being surrounded by water. Legal procedures against him are completed.”
