Oman condemns Somalia terror attacks

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has “strongly condemned” two recent terrorist attacks in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said in a statement.

“The Sultanate strongly condemns the two terrorist attacks in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, that killed 231 people, injured 275 other, destroyed several buildings and set on fire of dozens of vehicles,” the ministry reported.

The statement also affirmed the Sultanate’s solidarity with the friendly Republic of Somalia against violence and terrorism.

"The Sultanate expresses its sympathy to the families of the victims," the ministry added, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
