Citizen honoured for rescuing a family in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has honoured a citizen for rescuing a family that was trapped in their house due to the flow of wadis in the Wilayat of Bahla, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

"Lieutenant-Colonel Humaid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Director of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, led by the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command, honoured a citizen for his humanitarian role in rescuing a family trapped in their home due to the flow of wadis in the Wilayat of Bahla. The honour came in appreciation of his keenness and initiative and to enhance the existing cooperation between the Royal Oman Police and citizens and residents, " ROP said in a statement.
