Muscat: The recently released Class X and XII CBSE Board Results for 2022 have resulted in several students achieving record marks in Oman and an unprecedented number of high achievers with an impressive pass percentage.
For Pranshu Dasgupta, a student of Class XII science stream, the board exam results are a dream come true. Having scored 99.4 per cent, Dasgupta is the overall topper for the CBSE exams across the Sultanate.
Other toppers from the science stream include, Rathod Smit Amitkumar from Indian School Sohar with 98.4 per cent at second position; and the third position is sharted by two students from Indian School Al Ghubra –Ishan Jabir and Keshav Balwant Deoskar – both scoring 98.2 per cent.
A statement by Indian Schools Oman said, “The Class XII commerce stream toppers are Angel Maria Tarson (Indian School Darsait) and Sujanya Sriram (Indian School Al Ghubra) both scoring 97.8 per cent. The second position is also being shared by two students scoring 97.6 per cent, Lakshmi Priyaanjani Krishnan (Indian School Al Seeb) and Ojas Golyan (Indian School Sohar). Ananya Panwar (Indian School Al Ghubra) has claimed the third position with 97.2 per cent.”
“The first and the second position in the Humanities stream are being claimed by Shraavani Sastry and Caroline Judi Benhur from Indian School Al Ghubra with 98 per cent and 97.6 per cent respectively. Sharlotte Carvalho of Indian School Muscat claims the third position with 97.4 per cent.”
In a statement by Indian Schools Oman, Dr. Sivakumar Manickam, Chairman – Board of Directors congratulated the students who have made their alma mater and parents proud with outstanding results. He lauded the unflinching support of schools that have conducted remedial classes to aid the academically needy students and made all efforts to set a higher benchmark of success in the Board Exams.
This year the CBSE, India had conducted the Board examination for class X & XII in two terms.
