Parts of Oman to witness thunderstorms

Muscat: Thunderstorms are predicted over parts of the Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday.

"Today, chances of rain, sometimes thunderstorms, continue on the coasts and mountains of Dhofar Governorate. There are chances of cumulus clouds and thunderstorms, accompanied by active downward winds, on the Al Hajar Mountains and adjacent areas and on the Al Wusta deserts and the Dhofar desert. Please be careful, "Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
