Sayyid Shihab inspects SAF training regiment

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs toured the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) Training Regiment.

HH Sayyid Shihab was greeted upon his arrival at the regiment’s headquarters by Maj.Gen Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) and Brigadier Said Zaid Al Habsi, Commandant of the RAO Academy.

HH Sayyid Shihab was briefed on the march of modernisation witnessed by the regiment and its equipment, as well as the military training system and plans.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs also toured the shooting range in Ghala.
